Martin Dewey Hendrix, 61, died Sunday, April 12, 2009.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 16, in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel by Bishop Patrick Fly. Burial was in Olive Branch Cemetery.
A native of Clarendon, he was a photographer for the US Army Corps of Engineers. He was a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include a daughter, Wendy Lynn Hendrix of Va. Beach; a son, Nathan Amos Hendrix of Bumpass; and two grandchildren, Brittney Kay Hendrix and Allison Christine Yco.
