William Eugene Smith

Funeral services for William Eugene Smith, 3 months old, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2001, in the True Church of God in Christ in Clarendon with Elder John Bowser and Elder Elisha Demerson officiating.  Burial was held in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc., in Clarendon.

William died Saturday, March 3, 2001, in Austin.  He was born November 28, 2001, in Amarillo and was a Clarendon resident until moving to Austin two weeks ago.  He was a member of the True Church of God in Christ in Clarendon.

Survivors include his mother, La Shonda Smith of Austin; his father, Corey Fields of Austin; a sister, Zaryia Smith of Austin; grandparents, Clifford and Ann Alexander of Clarendon, William Smith of Claude, and Mattie Fields of Clarendon; great grandparents, Essie Jean McCampbell of Clarendon and Fern Jones of Clarendon; and great great grandparents, B.W. and Beatrice Smith of Clarendon.
