Ray Franklin Smith, 72, died Wednesday, April 7, 2010, in Amarillo.
Graveside services were held at 4 p.m., on Friday, April 9, 2010, in the Citizens Cemetery with Rev. Lance Wood, Minister of First Baptist Church of Clarendon, officiating. Services were under the arrangement of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Ray was born August 8, 1937, in Grand Junction, Colo. to William and Ethal Coffee Smith. He resided in Clarendon the past 22 years, moving from Hedley. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hedley.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include four sisters, Jean Smith of Clarendon, Ann Robinson of Clarendon, Nell Mask of Roswell, New Mexico, and twin sister Gay Cochran of Amarillo.
