Mark Anthony Lindsay, 61, died Sunday, November 7, 2010, in Lubbock.
Memorial Services were held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2010, in the First Church of the Nazarene in Clarendon with Rev. Bill Hodges, Pastor, and Rev. Larry Capranica, Pastor of the Community Fellowship Church, officiating.
Cremation and services were under the arrangement of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Mark was born on September 13, 1949, in Vincennes, Indiana to Carter Leslie and Margaret Wilkins Lindsay. He married Starlene Bennett on June 11, 1990, in Clarendon. He had been a resident of Clarendon for the past 3 years.
He was a truck driver and enjoyed collecting toys from all over the country. He had volunteered with the Donley County Sr. Citizens in Clarendon and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Clarendon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Monty Lindsay; two sisters, Beth Girton and Carroll Lindsay.
Survivors include his wife, Starlene Lindsay of Clarendon; a son, Anthony Lindsay of Indiana; 2 brothers, Monty McMinn of Colorado and Mike McMinn of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Louise Young of California and Margie Cordell of Aztec, New Mexico; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In leau of flowers the family requests that memorials be to the Donley County Sr. Citizens in Clarendon.
The family will be at 402 South Taylor in Clarendon.
