The Bronco Cheerleaders attended NCA cheerleading camp in South Padre Island June 28 – July 1 . The girls learned many new Cheers and Dances. The teams won several spirit awards, including First Place in the “Champion Chant.” The girls did well individually as well. Six girls were given “All – American” nominations. These were: Kae Hewett, Maci White, Trevela Dronzek, Marqueda Gaines, Abby Johnson, and Elizabeth O’Rear. Of these, Kae , Elizabeth, Abby and Trevela were awarded the All-American Honor. Trevela was also named Top All-American for the camp. Clarendon mascot Savannah Topper was awarded an All- American mascot honor. The squad is looking forward to performing with the Bronco athletic teams in the 2011-2012 school year.
