The Rosenfield Street Bridge opened for last week traffic following a half-million project that rehabilitated the structure and built a new bridge near City Park. The 1940 Warren truss bridge on Rosenfield was disassembled, reinforced, and rebuilt.
The new Seventh Street Bridge at City Park is also opened for traffic last Friday. The project bypassed a 1908 Pony truss bridge that was closed for safety reasons in 2008. The new bridge has room for traffic in both directions, and the old bridge was left in place as a foot bridge due to its historic nature. Enterprise Photo / Roger Estlack
