Hedley Lady Owls and Valley Lady Patriots came together Friday night to play basketball, support a fellow team mate Friday was “Team Kortney” day at Hedley School. Valley Lady Patriots wore purple socks to show their support for Kortney during the game.
Valley High School cheerleaders joined up with Team Kortney on Friday at the Hedley/Valley district match up. Fans and students from Valley wore purple ribbons and Team Kortney shirts at the game in support of Kortney Burton (pictured center), a Hedley student who suffers from epilepsy.
