Department of Public Safety Trooper Carlos Molina interviews Donley County resident San West last Thursday morning after a two-vehicle collision near Lelia Lake. The DPS reports West failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign on County Road 19 and pulled his Chevrolet pickup out in front of a Chevrolet Avalanche that was northbound on US 287 and driven by Yunyong Kim McLain of Cedar Hill. McLain’s vehicle ended up crossing the southbound lanes of US 287 and came to rest in a fence. No injuries were reported in the accident, and no citations were issued.
