The Clarendon High School Bronco Band earned a Sweepstakes “A” for the 2011-2012 school year last Tuesday, February 28, when they earned straight “one” ratings from six judges – three in sightreading and three in concert performance – at the Regional Concert and Sightreading Contest. The Bronco Band also received a division one in the Marching Contest back in October, which gives them the Sweepstakes for the year. This is the first time the band has received this rating in eight years. Shown here are Bronco Band members Emily Martinez, Emberli Holand, and Elizabeth Best. Enterprise Photo / Matthew Martinez
