Roseanne Pacioerk Engel was born on July 24, 1945, in Clinton, Okla. and died Wednesday, February 25, 2009, in Woodward, Okla., at age 63.
Roseanne was the eldest daughter of Stan and Mary Paciorek of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald D. Engel in February 2007, and grandparents, Juan and Priscilla Villarreal of Clinton and Michael and Agnes Paciorek of Michigan. Roseanne graduated from Clinton High School in 1963 and attended college in Weatherford where she met and married Jerry in 1968. Both obtained teaching degrees and taught school for several years. They loved God and their church family. Roseanne was a member of the Altar Society and Cursillo Movement of Oklahoma, R.E. Teacher, Reader and also served as a Eucharistic Minister in her church. Rosie dedicated 25 years of service to the Woodward Wal-Mart. Roseanne never resented anyone or hesitated to extend a hand to help another. She was loved by many and known as a friend by all the rest. Ro was extremely dedicated in her role as wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt. There is a hole left in the hearts of those who were blessed by knowing her.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Shawn and Michelle Engel of Oklahoma City; daughter Cindy Engel and Josh Marlette of Woodward; siblings Dianne and husband Cecil McKinney of Clinton; Mike and Suzzy Paciorek of Allen; Joanne and husband Marcus Wright of Piedmont; Stanley Paciorek of Elk City, and Marianne Rattan of Clarendon; five grandchildren, eight nieces and nephews, and ten great-nieces and nephews.
